Ingredients for making simple bean broth:

 1 cup of cooked carioca beans (with the broth)

 1 bay leaf (optional)

 1 chopped medium onion

 4 chopped garlic cloves

 ½ cup chopped red pepper

 1 cup of diced potatoes

 1 drizzle of oil or olive oil

 parsley or chopped green smell

 salt to taste

How to Make Simple Bean Broth:

Put a drizzle of oil in a pan and saute the garlic and onion with the bay leaf until golden. Add the peppers and saute for another 1-2 minutes.

Add potatoes and beans with your cooking broth and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Tip: To make sure the potatoes are tender, prick them with a fork.

Remove the bay leaf, blend the stock in a blender and return with the stock in the pan. Match the flavor with salt, wait for it to boil again and turn it off.
